"For the congress of Evian, each of the eight Heads of State or Govermment has received as a gift a bottle of Armagnac from its date of birth, bottled some times before by Castarede, the oldest Gascogny House, and with a customized label.

From the eldest (Jacques Chirac, 1932) to the youngest (Tony Blair, 1953), while passing by the Canadian Jean Chretien (1934), the Italian Silvio Berlusconi (1936), the Japanese Junichiro Koizumi (1942), the German Gehrart Schroeder (1944), the American Georges W, Bush (1946) and the Russian Vladimir Poutine (1952), each of them could discover (or rediscover) the eau-de-vie of d‘Artagnan."
