一点历史

雅文邑酒是法国最古老的生命之水,

在中世纪时人们己知道这是一有治疗作用的饮料, 雅文邑酒在15世纪时成为一真正的消费品而获得很大发展。

大约在1830年, 由于加龙河Garonne可以通航,很多商业企业在Baïse成立, 当时只有这条水道可作运输, 其它运输道因为在1870年葡萄病而停止了好几年, 至20世纪重新营运。

在19世纪雅文邑酒发展到高峰期。在1909年, 地方政府主席Fallières, 界限了这生命之水的产地。

在1936年8月6日, 确定雅文邑酒法定产区的3个地区。

Unlike Cognac, Armagnac is not the name of a town.

Armagnac refers to the sovereign family, who for 5 centuries ruled over the eponymous earldom.

In the XVth century , the Armagnac Family  reached the peak of their greatness by supporting the King of France , Charles IV, against the English and Burgundians .
